Student Dress Code

All students at Crescendo Conservatory must comply with the Dress Code.

No jewelry may be worn in class. No street clothing may be worn in class except in cases of injury. Dance skirts and dance leg warmers may be worn with instructor approval. After class, students need to wear street clothes over their dance clothes when leaving the facility.

Creative Movement – any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and skirts and tutus of your choice. Hair must be up in a ponytail or bun.

Primary Ballet/Jazz – any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, simple wrap skirts are optional. Hair must be up in a pony tail or bun.

Ballet Class - pink tights & pink ballet slippers, with drawstrings tucked in. Hair must be worn in a neat ballet bun (if hair is short, a secure hairband is required.) Hair accessories are not permitted for levels 1 and up.

Jazz Class – any color leotard, jazz pants, capris or tights and black jazz shoes. Hair pulled back. No bare midriff.

Tap - any solid color t-shirt, black pants, black tap shoes. Hair up in a ponytail.

Contemporary - solid color leotard, black form fitting capri pants or tights, and foot protection. No bare midriff.

All Adult and Beginning Teen Classes – leotards and tights, or form fitting leggings and tank top. No bare midriff. Hair up in a bun.

Musical Theater – Any color leotard or T-shirt with black leggings or shorts. Black Jazz shoes and hair up in a pony tail or ban.
